Another Castle
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
So you've glitched your way out of that dungeon cell the wizard threw you in -- what now? Work your way backwards through a gauntlet of challenges prepared for the hero who is supposedly coming to save you, listen to patronizing text boxes that weren't meant for you, and die repeatedly because you have all the late-game items but no sword.
Created for the GitHub Game Off 2022 game jam (theme: cliché). Source files available for download at https://github.com/pmcrockett/AnotherCastle/.
Note: Mac and Linux versions are untested because I don't have systems to run them on. If you try them, please let me know if they work!

I tried to play this game on Linux. I managed to make it running via Wine, but in-game FPS is around 3-5, it’s unplayable for me. :( Could you upload a native Linux binary? I think that Unity should have that target available. It would be really helpful. Or perhaps the web version could manage to maintain a good FPS for me, but I doubt it.
I tested the WebGL version but the framerate makes it unplayable. I've uploaded a Linux version, though. I don't currently have a Linux system to test it on, so let me know if it works.
Thank you Thank you Thank you I’ll be right back after testing it.
The framerate is x2-3 times better, it’s around 10-12 I guess. :D It’s almost playable now. :) Perhaps my video card is not good enough to process this goodness. :’(
Glad it at least sort of works. There's definitely some optimization that needs to be done on the code side regardless of the platform, so the issue may not necessarily be with your video card. One thing you can try that may improve the performance is to lower your desktop resolution before launching the game, because it should automatically run in the desktop's resolution.
